    I closed my eyes to the world I knew and then I was gone... into a pulsing and
    twitching state of grace that none of my journeys had ever led me. Observed and
    observing, my inner succumbing was but the tip of the iceberg.  This body mind
    and spirit that defined who I was in the mirror has morphed into a quivering mass
    of matter and energy that curiously remained still and quiet as my consciousness
    raced from molecule to molecule in excited harmony.  I drifted effortlessly from
    awareness of slight sensations to a deeper state of being.  In and out I passed
    from grace, to being, to subtle knowledge of a beauty that was beyond my words.  I
    was both complete and in a state of becoming as I was lifted out of myself and
    quietly reminded of the love that is my true nature before I was gently returned.  
    Warm and embraced, I accepted the grace as I rose beyond what my current reality
    offered me to a state of profound knowing and peace within this place I lingered.

    As I felt the light touch upon my shoulder and heard my name uttered from some
    distant place I returned, without resistance, to the physical reality that was my point
    of departure.  Taking the time to notice myself I realized that even though I look the
    same as before I left, I am different, and while I feel the same as before this
    journey, I also feel different as well.

    I have searched for the words to describe these differences and have had to
    accepted the fact that, at least for me, they do not exist.  The only word that I can
    find that hints at my experience and is only a feeble attempt to describe the
    indescribable is... "everlasting."
